About me: Blogger. Photographer. Basically your usual girl with a camera. But I get paid for some of my photos, fortunately. I Bake recklessly. I work for a Food Magazine called “Cook” wherein I bake, write, and take photos of the food I bake. I have five dogs. I read a lot. I eat a lot. I take photos everyday. And I blog a lot.

FAQ

What cameras/lenses do you use/have?: I have Minolta srT101 (film), Lumix Gf1 (digital), Canon 50D (digital), and a Minolta Dynax 600si (film). I have various lenses, but I mostly use my 50mm’s (1.4 & 1.8) for my photos.

How do you edit your photos?: Like everyone else, I use Photoshop. (Cs3/Cs4/Cs5) I use textures, adjustments and the like. I don’t use actions, all my edited photos are trial and errors, till I get the look I want. I’ve learned through the years and through youtube videos. Don’t be lazy. Google it.

What books do you recommend?: Where do I start? I love a good series, so I buy a lot of series books. I love the Mortal Instruments Series, Wicked Lovely Series, Vampire Academy Series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series. I don’t really have favourites. I have yet to reread any of my books since there are soo many books, yet so little time. And I frequently buy new books because as of now, I’m building my Library. Fiction/Romance/Action/Fantasy/Sci-Fi are my preferred genres of books. But I’m very open to different kinds. Give me a book and I’ll read it.
